Illustrator Mariko Merritt is a designer and artist. She is a graduate of Rhode Island School of Design and Punahou School and currently runs Beachcake ceramics.

‘Ōlelo Hawaiʻi Editor Dr. Keao NeSmith is a Native Hawaiian linguist, educator, and translator.
