SOUNDING SPACE: a workshop for creatives

sounding space: aligning with values | a 3-part workshop series 

A workshop for creatives, artists, designers, change makers. A sounding space where you can be heard, refine ideas, and workshop projects and ideas.

$10 donation at the door or $25 for all 3 workshops 

Please bring to the first class: notebook/writing utensils, idea for what you want to work on (whether it be a specific project or identifying a blockage you want to work on), an open mind.

January 20th, 4:00-6:00pm

1. VALUES (alignment) 

exercise to identify and align with values. 

READING. Go over spine chapter of Twyla Tharp’s The Creative Habit (book available for purchase at da Shop).

INTERACTIVE. workshop on ethos of self, essence of project 


February 17th, 4:00-6:00pm 

2. INTEGRATION (time + space)

Ideation / deep dive into practice in March.

READING. TBD. 

CONNECTIVE. Discussion: what is coming up for you, holding you back, what are you struggling with. Gentle “workshopping” of ideas/sketches or works in progress. 

create your own SOUL ASSIGNMENT.  Push through to create. 

March 17th, 4:00-6:00pm

3. TRANSFORMATION (alchemical resonance) 

Through aligning with values, showing up for the creative / spiritual practice, and utilizing time and space, what comes through? - Writing reflection for self. 

READING.  Share out of reflections. 

WORKSHOP / REFLECTION. 

Show completed project/work. Constructive critique and written reflections from fellow creatives in safe space.
